 This stuff works! - almost a little TOO well haha Jun 02, 2011

Dr. Fred Summit whitening cream definately works but please be forwarned. If you want to use this product for an overall lighter complexion, use it on your entire face in conjunction with a lightening soap or lotion for the rest of your body. If you just have dark spots/hyperpigmentation, use a q-tip to apply it directly to the spots you want lightened. My problem was that the dark spots were extremely close together on one cheek and I used the product primary general area and sparingly on the rest of my face. That area was 2-3 shades lighter than the rest of my face but this eventually faded to a nice overall glow. Definately produces quicker results than Ambi so I recommend this over Ambi. I mean, when you buy a product you usually want it to work - FAST. Two downsides - the texture is very greasy - like Vasiline consistency and in my opinion is too greasy to wear under makeup. So I use this product around the house or before bed. The 2nd downside is that the Dr. Fred Summit could be a little more discrete about the outside of jar. It proclaims "SKIN WHITENER." I travel with friends alot and would prefer not to have this written in huge red letters on the outside of the jar. I simply wiped it off with nailpolish remover but still.. All in all, great product that does what it claims.

At the beggining even when I was looking at the product here at Amazon I was like "yeah right I'm going to buy it because the good prize, but probably won't work" Iam now a 3 week active user of this product and I which I could've post pictures of before and after, It work!!! My skin is much lighter now even though I'm a person who works on an island a caribbean island to be exact for more than 8 hours, I love how my skin has turn out, I would say that the only problem with this product is that it too oily and you can ONLY wear it at night when the temperature its nicer, well hope my feedback could help

Works fast on scars, just wish it does too on acne scars. Oct 29, 2011

So I've been using this for more than a week now. I'm Asian and have a fair complexion. At first I only intend to use it on my face since I got this noticeable acne scars scattered on both of my cheeks, I've been applying it twice a day, morning and at night. After only a day of using this I noticed that every morning when I wake up my skin is glowing and looks so soft, so I continued using it. After a days, my skin starts to lighten and I noticed that my acne scars kinda turns to red. Then I tried using it on the 1st degree burn that I got long time ago and WHOAALLA!! I was really surprised that that burnt scar disappeared! I don't really know why it acted so fast on my burnt scar than my acne scar. Oh well, at least it really shows that this stuff really works!
Also, try applying it evenly on your face or just apply it on the spot you wanna lighten.
Even though, I have an oily skin, it didn't give me breakouts like what other users had. So just try it for yourself :)
The reason why I only gave it 4 is because I really think it would take more time for it to lighten my old acne scars. Still, I'll just continue using it and see if I could get back to my clear and smooth face.

Does it live up to the hype? May 02, 2011

Not gonna lie, I was shocked that this stuff actually worked. It doesn't fade old scars and marks but it does prevent new ones from forming. Whenever I have a zit and I make the mistake of trying to pop it, it will turn into a spot, but when I apply Dr. Fred Summit to the area, it never gets a chance to turn that ugly, grey/brown color that takes forever to fade, instead, it just stays red for a few days and then it's gone! It's like...it's actually changing the chemistry of my skin and zapping away the melanin that causes scars to linger on. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think it stops working after awhile and you can't really wear it around people since it's very greasy. If it didn't have hydroquinone in it, I'd keep using it though.
Also, I want to mention that I contacted the company and told them that I didn't receive the cream and they were so kind and professional to send me another. It turns out that the box had fallen off the porch into the bushes, so I received TWO of the creams. I'm very grateful!
