Real Hair/Braided Mar 11, 2009
I too, am African American and I have used this product for about a year now. I love it. I wear my real hair braids in a loose hair style. I too like to work out. If not for this product my braided hair would be sweaty and smelly all the time. This is such a quick way to get clean, manageable braids with out wetting my hair. The only thing I would change about the product is to make a better smelling product. More like normal shampoo if possible. Other than that, which isn't really a issue for me at all - I love it!

I am African American. I like to work out. Often times I skip my work out because don't want to sweat my hair out knowing that I'm not headed to the salon anytime soon. Sweat and oil = ugh "what's that smell?". It is not possible nor advisable to wash my hair daily. However, this product is wonderful. It is quick, easy and my hair smells fantastic and I still have my hairstyle. My husband actually thought I had wet/washed my hair and restyled it. Buy it. You'll love it!
P.S. this posting most likely makes no sense to you if you are not African American but it works on all hair types. If you know of someone who is camping or in the hospital it would come in handy.
