D&R apparently produces two version of this product: one with and one without hydroquinone. The product I received does not contain hydroquinone, which as far as I know is the only substance that actually works. What really bothers me is that the product I received does not even list its ingredients. In addition, my first attempt at using resulted in a red spot (allergy?), but I can't tell what's causing it since I don't know what exactly is in the cream.

I am a medium to lite skined black woman. and i have tried many produces. this one is low on the potency side, however it did fade the specific spots i put it on by 40%-45%. you may think that's a lot but over a 6 to 8 week period it evens out. mainly my arms and upper back. my white friend tried it after i told her how it worked for me, and it too made her a bit reddish (like the woman in the prev review). she is somewhat fair skined. so i am making a huge assumption by saying it may very on skin type. but that has been my experience.
